So Whole30 is a paleo-ish way of eating. It lasts 30 days - it is restrictive - and then food groups are reintroduced to see how your body reacts to them. During these 30 days I also joined a gym and got in 31 workouts in the 31 days of January. I've been lifting a lot of weight doing Les Mills BodyPump 6 days a week at my local gym-- and also doing Pilates, Yoga and PiYo. I reveal all of this about working out because my results, as far as the scale goes, are less than when I did my first Whole30 back in October - when I didn't work out at all. This time around I KNOW I built a lot of heavy muscle and luckily this time I also took measurements.
In 30 days, I lost over 10 pounds! And I lost over 11 inches! AND - my body fat percentage is way down. More than this - I feel great - I don't have that wheat belly - and I have the energy I need to tackle National Board Certification! And - my blood pressure is fantastic! So what's the deal these 30 days? More of the same. I'm actually doing a Whole45 so it'll officially end mid-February, and then I'll do another Whole30 in March. Want to join me?????
